Selection of 3e The Montreal Canadiens’ 2022 tour went where it hurt to score a rebound to thwart the opposing goalie in a game between the Zurich Lions and their school club (GCK Lions).
Anyone who is playing a second season in Switzerland’s best professional league wants to continue the progress they started last year.
After being selected by the Habs, Martin Lapointe, director of amateur recruiting, said of him that he excelled in almost everything he did, “be it a musical instrument or a sport.”
Known for his aggressive team despite his small stature of 5’9″ and 165 lbs, Rohrer collected 19 points in 49 games last season and later contributed four points in 15 playoff games to his team’s championship title.
A summer in the gym
According to the findings, Rohrer used the summer season to spend a lot of time in the gym to build muscle. The guy who turns 20 on September 9th wants to increase his muscle mass and his strength on the ice.
In addition, he needs to be heavier if he wants to continue to play an aggressive style of play and challenge opposing defenders.
If he has a good season, it would not be a surprise to see him return to North America and try his luck with the Canadian. He will of course have to learn his lessons with the Laval Rocket before landing a position in Montreal.
