Anderson, who has been ruled out in his last three games, has three goals and five points in 12 games this season.
Tkachuk too
Anderson isn’t the only player who might be forced to watch some games from the stands. Florida Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk could also be suspended for a high stick at the expense of Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick.
The incident, which also happened in the third period, was the cause of the breaststroke comrade at the end of the game. The former Calgary Flames appeared to be sticking the end of his cane into an opening in Quick’s face shield. The latter also reacted strongly when the game was suspended.
Tkachuk was the only player to be penalized, adding a 15-minute penalty to his counterattack. The Kings eventually won 5-4.
