Quebec-based Cabico&co unveiled the new facilities for its Coaticook plant in Estrie on Thursday after undertaking a nearly $25 million digital and technology transformation.
A partnership with Dunin Technologies, Nubik (Deloitte), Createch (Talan), PSTOX and Automatech has made it possible to implement and connect new software in this new 50,000 ft2 facility.
“The digital and technological transformation of our facilities is a force for positive change, enabling us to offer our valued customers operational excellence to meet their expectations and ideas,” said Alain Ouzilleau, President of Cabico&co, in a press release on Thursday .
New administrative offices were also unveiled at the 200,000 square foot facility.
“The vision we have had for years, to make our customers’ experience inspiring and easy, from design to manufacture of their personalized project, has now become a reality,” explained Mr. Ouzilleau. “Our robots and systems free up time for our talented craftsmen. As a result, we increase our production capacity and the level of our tailor-made projects reaches an incomparable quality.”
Several funds have also been raised from public and private partners to enable these entities to see the light of day, including the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Canada Economic Development.
