Much to the surprise of many, Brendan Gallagher has made an excellent start to the season.
The 32-year-old striker has been in big trouble, especially last year, and has already scored two goals in five games. And let’s just say his success isn’t a matter of luck, as he leads the National Hockey League with 14 shots from the slot.

Additionally, Gallagher’s recent success dates back to the end of last season. In fact, since April 15, the day of the penultimate game of the 2023-2024 season, No. 11 has been the Montreal Canadiens’ leading scorer with six points in seven games, tied with Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky.
Last year, Gallagher scored 16 goals and 15 assists for 31 points in 77 games.
