Blue Jay’s heartbreaking loss

The Toronto Blue Jays couldn’t maintain their late three-run lead and lost 4-3 in the 10th inning to the Phillies on Thursday in Philadelphia. You can see the highlights of the encounter in the video at the top of the article.

The fans gathered at Citizens Bank Park had little action to offer in the first seven fights. However, the guests managed the first brilliant shot in their eighth round of batting.

With two runners on the trails, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kicked out an offer from pitcher Seranthony Dominguez. He hit his 30th home run of the season.

The crowd-pleasers responded immediately, first with JT Realmuto’s solo homer, then with one-run singles from Dalton Guthrie and Kyle Schwarber.

Matt Vierling drove a single over Adam Cimber (10-6) in the 10th inning in the winning run.

Jay’s starter Kevin Gausman, however, got his team off to a great start by having six strikeouts out of a possible six after two innings. He was eventually retired after six innings of work, leaving a total of eight opponents to bite the dust. With five hits and two walks, he didn’t give up runs.

However, the visitors had every chance of winning. Twice, in the eighth and tenth innings, they were able to fill the trails with just one out. However, they failed to take any of their chances.

Canada’s only major league baseball team will now travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Rays in a four-game series Thursday through Sunday.

An emotional show on TVA Sports

The meeting was also broadcast on TVA Sports on Wednesday evening. For the occasion, Rodger Brulotte and Denis Casavant invited the legendary Jacques Doucet to the studio. The latter, who is currently battling the disease, kept them company for three laps and commented on one in passing.

The TVA Sports team wanted to pay tribute to “the voice of Expos” with a video edited in his honor. Jacques Doucet was very moved and I’m sure you will be too when you see the video. You can also see it below.
