Blackhawks beat badly with Connor Bedard

The upcoming season will certainly be a difficult one for Chicago Blackhawks fans, but count on young prodigy Connor Bedard to ease their pain.

Despite the Blackhawks’ tough 6-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, Connor Bedard continued to show why he is a generational talent.

While it was already 2-0 for the “Wings”, Bedard almost scored a nice goal. The latter literally made fun of defender Simon Edvinsson with a feint whose secret only he knows. However, James Reimer had the final say, stopping No. 98’s shot with his right pad.

Striker Michael Rasmussen scored two goals in the game. Quebecer David Perron also joined the party with two assists.

The avalanche got hot

After leading 3-1 with just over three minutes left, the Colorado Avalanche conceded two goals in 2:24 against the Dallas Stars. The game went into extra time, but everything ended well for Nathan MacKinnon’s teammates as they won 4-3 thanks to a goal from Oskar Olausson. Former Montreal Canadiens Corey Schueneman had an assist on the winning goal.

Speaking of CH alumni: Artturi Lehkonen got on the scoresheet with an assist for his team’s third goal. Jonathan Drouin was ruled out, but finished the game with a +1 margin, three shots on goal and 18:02 of game time.

Ducks comeback

Finally, the game between the Anaheim Ducks and the Arizona Coyotes was full of twists and turns. The latter took the lead 3 to 2 and then 4 to 3, but were unable to defend their lead. The teammates of Leo Carlsson, the second overall pick in the last draft, won 5-4.

The Swede also provided an assist for Ryan Strome’s goal, which was his second of the game. The 30-year-old striker was voted the game’s first star. Josh Doan, the son of Coyotes legend Shane Doan, collected two assists in his team’s loss.
