Alloprof prepares 7,000 students for summer retake exams

July is synonymous with a holiday for most Quebec high school seniors. However, for around 20,000 young people, preparation for repeat exams and summer courses will be an integral part of their timetable.

During the year, the Alloprof organization supported almost 7,000 students in passing their courses and exams. That’s twice as much as last school year.

Until July 31, 2023, Alloprof teachers will continue to answer questions via chat or phone. The website has also been updated to offer exercises to reinforce the material covered over the last few months.

Exam simulations and interactive recreation are added to the available tools.

The preferred tool for overcoming academic difficulties is our interactive online recoveries called MiniRécups. Since its inception, the number of terms covered has steadily increased, as we know it is an effective tool for revising and practicing the problematic termsexplains Alloprof spokeswoman Eveline Trudel-Fugère in a press release.

A second chance

For the summer of 2022, more than 18,500 high school students had to take supplementary exams in various subjects. Among graduates, the single French test was the most popular, followed by the Science and Technology tests and then Maths.

If students find out that we have to take summer courses or take additional exams, it means they have to cancel their holidays, have to stay at home and miss out on valuable first work experiences… It’s not the prospect of a nice summer. On the other hand, Alloprof is convinced that summer courses and additional exams represent a unique opportunity for many of them to deepen their knowledge, consolidate their skills and have an additional chance to start the next step in their school careersaid the spokesman in a press release.
