Air France and KLM launch their first credit card in Canada – Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard – with their partner Financière Brim.

Issued and managed on Brim’s digital platform, the card offers Canadians the opportunity to earn Flying Blue Miles with their daily purchases.

With the new Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard, customers can earn experience points (XP) and increase their Flying Blue status faster.

Cardholders earn miles every time their card is used. Miles can be redeemed for tickets, upgrades or additional travel options, for purchases from partners or to donate miles to charity or sustainable development.

With the new Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® card, cardholders can earn more experience points (XP) and 5x miles when traveling on Air France or KLM:

Cardholders earn more miles:

• 5 additional Miles per euro spent (€1)* on the purchase of Air France and KLM tickets, added to the usual Flying Blue Miles.
• Up to 30 miles per dollar ($1) spent at select retailers.
• 2 miles per dollar ($1) spent at restaurants and bars.
• 1 mile per dollar ($)1 for all other purchases.

Cardholders gain more experience points (XP):

• Flying Blue Explorer members receive 60 Welcome Experience Points (XP), which is 60% of the points required to reach Silver status.
• Members get 30 extra XP each year when they renew the card.
• XP is earned on all eligible Air France, KLM and SkyTeam partner flights, based on route and class of travel.

Cardholders receive comprehensive travel insurance and free Boingo WiFi worldwide.

The card will be offered with no annual fee ($132) until December 15, 2022.
