Audible’s new content enriches Air Canada’s in-flight entertainment system with dynamic, high-quality audio content across many categories such as sports, crime documentaries, family shows or comedies, to provide passengers with immersive in-flight entertainment to help them relax during their flight.
Air Canada emphasizes that this collaboration with a leading provider of high-quality audio content represents the latest investment in its award-winning customer experience. The airline says it has doubled the content of its inflight entertainment system since last year, with more than 2,500 hours of films, TV series, music and podcasts.

Air Canada’s collaboration with Audible will initially add approximately 160 hours of original productions, including audiobooks and podcasts, to the already more than 2,500 hours of inflight entertainment – in addition to 420 films, 1,000 TV shows, 130 music albums and podcasts and much more.
Audible’s new content offering includes a wide range of Canadian content in French and English. Some examples of the titles offered:
- Sidney Crosby: rookie year,
- Roudoudou in Lapland,
- Hands on the world,
- Seven truths, Women talk.
In addition, the Audible catalog also offers theSubscription free for two months to Air Canada customers so they can continue listening at home or during their next trip.
Other recent improvements
Air Canada says the partnership with Audible follows recent improvements to its in-flight entertainment options, including the addition of critically acclaimed original productions and entertaining family content.
In May, Air Canada also began offering free text messaging services to its members Airplane that take place on board devices equipped with Wi-Fi technology, including on flightsAir Canada Rouge and D’Air Canada Express.
