Air Canada operates five non-stop routes between France and Canada. Convenient connections throughout North America thanks to the Montreal hub
Air Canada has resumed year-round non-stop service between Lyon and Montreal. From October 13, 2023, it will operate up to four times a week. This is the fifth non-stop connection from mainland France. It is in addition to the existing flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Toronto and Montreal, as well as the year-round Toulouse-Montreal service and the seasonal flights between Nice and Montreal.
Air Canada flights between Lyon and Montreal are operated using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which can accommodate 297 passengers. The aircraft is equipped with three service cabins: Premium Economy Class, Economy Class and Air Canada Signature Class. They offer passengers the utmost comfort and convenience in an exclusive cabin with spacious sleeper seats, personalized service, fine dining, additional baggage allowance and access to priority airport services. All flights are scheduled to optimize connections with Air Canada’s extensive North American network. Flight schedules Lyon – Montreal
In addition to resuming the route between Lyon and Montreal, Air Canada currently offers year-round non-stop flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Toronto and Montreal, as well as year-round flights from Toulouse to Montreal and seasonal flights between Nice and Montreal. Air Canada also offers year-round non-stop flights between French overseas territories and Canada, notably from Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre to Montreal. In total, the airline operates 30 weekly flights from mainland France and French overseas regions to its Montreal and Toronto hubs during the summer peak season.

Preclearance at US Customs
It’s easy to travel to the United States with Air Canada by connecting in Canada. Passengers departing from France do not need to collect their luggage during the transfer and can pre-clear it at US Customs and Immigration in Montreal and Toronto.
