MONTREAL, 20 June 2019 – Air Canada today announced that it is expanding its popular in-flight entertainment offering through unique partnerships with Crave, Bell Media’s award-winning entertainment service, and Stingray.
The new content is part of the airline’s expanded entertainment system, which will increase the content offering on board certain aircraft types by half, including many of the Boeing 777 and 787, the largest long-range wide-body aircraft, as well as the Airbus A319 and A321, and Air Canada Rouge’s Boeing 767. The selection is so vast that you would have to fly around the world 22 times to get through it all.
Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge passengers can now enjoy great content from Crave, including Life And The Girlfriend Experience from STARZ channel; Billions, Ray Donovan And The affair from the SHOWTIME channel; Broad City and the original comedy Letterkenny by Crave. Stingray, a Quebec-based company, offers a wider selection of music contentincluding French-language music channels, music-themed concerts and documentaries, music video compilations, multi-artist interviews, award galas, etc. Stingray ambience which features videos showcasing dream destinations with a soothing soundtrack that promotes relaxation.
On board Air Canada’s main flights Stingray’s music content includes various music genres such as pop, country, hip hop and feel-good music.
