The Montreal Canadiens started their journey on the right foot with a 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.
Coming back into the game, defender Kaiden Guhle scored the goal that allowed the Habs to level the game 1-1 in the third period. He also made several good plays throughout the game.

Less than two minutes later, Jesse Ylonen completed a fine two-on-one game from Rem Pitlick.
Christian Dvorak completed the goal in an empty goal late in the game.
The Sharks’ only goal came through defenseman Jacob Macdonald’s bat in the first half. It was his first goal of the campaign.
Goaltender Jake Allen was solid in the win, stopping 38 of 39 shots he faced. His opponent, Kaapo Kahkonen, made 29 saves.
