A radio series about Plume Latraverse on Radio-Canada

A series about the iconoclastic singer Plume Latraverse begins Saturday with Radio-Canada’s premiere Chaîne.

The page Radio-Canada.ca/plume allows Internet users to leave their special memories of Plume Latraverse, his shows or his songs.

The new radio series is called From one feather to another is a creation of Mathieu Beauchamp. He was given unprecedented access to Plume and had already produced a radio series about the history of the comedy group Les Cyniques.

The narrator of the first episode is Marie-Évelyne Baribeau.

Plume was born in Montreal in 1946. His real name is Michel Latraverse.

“He has always been discreet about his history and personal life. But for a rare time in his career, he agreed to lift the veil on his extraordinary career. From his childhood to the present, through memories and songs, he offers us both a magnificent journey through his work and a completely new access to the soul of the poet,” Radio-Canada said in a press release.
