He was previously a senior partner at groupM in sub-Saharan Africa, responsible for the growing media business and major accounts in several markets in the region. pingal brings to his newly created roles extensive media, marketing and technology expertise gained in Asia, Africa and Canada.

In this position coming from an agency of groupM, pingal knows the ins and outs of the structure and will be able to promote the use of Nexus in a way that strengthens the agency’s point of view.

This announcement is the latest in a series of announcements by groupM led by Kevin Johnson, who joined the agency as President and CEO in December last year. pingal will remain active as Mindshare’s Head of Performance until he has identified his successor.
