The RPR is revived in the Bouches-du-Rhône by an RN deputy and the mayor of Marignane

As we speak to him about a Canada Dry version of an RPR that would only go by the Franck Allisio name “assumes parentage”. The boss of the National Rally in the Bouches-du-Rhône calls for a revival of this movement – “No party, one movement!” – so this dialogue “right men, committed to patriotism, meritocracy, and authority.”

We knew the RN had bought the name in 2022, so they’re using it, even going so far as to reproduce the Lorraine Cross logo. “At the moment we have all gone through the RPR from the founding members. This was my first membership card for a political party. Renaud Muselier was one of them before he joined Emmanuel Macron’s centre-left party.” We feel like MPs for the 12th district enthusiastic about the tension of the historical. The RPR of 2023 is therefore the rally to rebuild. Would Jacques Chirac be proud of this renaissance? He who defeated Jean-Marie Le Pen in 2002. “It was a political stance. He allowed us to govern the PACA region from 1986 to 1992 with the UDF and the RPR. His anti-fascist, anti-Le Pen stance is a myth.”

“Poor Zombie”

Renaud Muselier, former RPR, responded on Twitter by calling this RPR a “poor zombie”. “My Cross of Lorraine (…) is the opposite of the extreme right and those who are allied with it”

He denounced Stéphane Le Rudulier, the president of the Republicans in Bouches-du-Rhône, in the columns of the Figaro
“A far-right political fraud”. Franck Allisio answers: “The only fraud is the fraud of the leaders of the LR for 20 years. They betray their beliefs. They betray their voters.”

Printemps Marseillais demands the expulsion of the mayor of Marignane

Different right: Éric Le Dissès handed over his sponsorship to another Éric, Zemmour, at the last election. However, his new partner Franck Allisio swears the mayor of Marignane will never join the RN. “He’s an independent who wants to have the dialogue. Should we condemn the dialogue?” The left municipal majority in Marseille, the Printemps Marseillais, nonetheless calls on Martine Vassal to condemn this rapprochement. Indeed, Éric Le Dissès is vice-president of the Bouches-du-Rhône department and vice-president of the Aix-Marseille agglomeration, where he is responsible in particular for an important matter, namely the 2024 Olympic Games.

Very strong reaction from Martine Vassal

At the end of the day, Martine Vassal responded unequivocally on Twitter this Saturday. The president of the department and the agglomeration “Strongly condemns Mr Le Dissès’ decision to establish a connection with Mr Allisio of the RN. As I have always shown in the past, I will never stick to such an approach.” Martine Vassal will meet the Mayor of Marignane in the coming days.
