Canada Day is back in Quebec with a lavish and free program on May 1stum July, on the plains of Abraham.

The day begins at 11am with the flag raising on Dufferin Terrace.
Accompanied by several dignitaries and the Red Guards of the 2nd Battalion, Royal 22nd Regiment, this solemn ceremony is sure to inspire pride in all Canadians.
Then the famous giant cake made and offered by the Fairmont Château Frontenac will be distributed.
Celebrations begin at 12:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m. on the Plains of Abraham.
More than a hundred artists, comedians and enthusiasts from different backgrounds will be there to entertain young and old and 1um An unforgettable day in July.
For the family
Science, dance and even Peking Opera are invited to the two family stages on the Abraham Plains.
More than 10 children’s shows, including Ari Cui Cui and Atchoum, the toddlers’ friends, will come on stage to make the audience sing.
Huron-Wendat singer-songwriter Sandrine Masse will also make an appearance.
There are also inflatable games, face painting, handicrafts and exciting performances by public animators.
The Juracirque adventure will be part of an extraordinary circus and paleontology journey!
The Teen Zone returns this year with whale morphyan immersive and educational augmented reality experience.
The gaming specialist in Quebec City La Revanche will introduce XXL games to everyone.
Finally, young people can test their soccer skills with coaches at Euroclass, Canada’s largest high-tech training center for the sport.

An artistic presentation provided by Alexandra Demers and Yann Lemieux allows the public to witness live painting performances.
The Mobile Museum presents the exhibition Echoes of the Northfeaturing prints by Nunavik artists and a linocut workshop.
A true showcase of cultural diversity, the Zone du Monde, with its kiosks, workshops and fun activities, offers the exchange of traditions, enriching encounters and unforgettable moments with the diverse communities that weave our Canadian heritage.
This year it will be expanded to include the Ukrainian, Brazilian and Haitian communities, among others, in addition to the participatory installation Bercer le temps.
Completion of the celebrations
Ludovick Bourgeois will round off Canada Day in style at 8 p.m. in the Edwin-Bélanger music pavilion.
The traditional fireworks, made possible thanks to the City of Quebec, will light up faces from 10 p.m. The public is invited to go to the Plains of Abraham racetrack opposite Gray Terrace to admire this magnificent spectacle.
