The Jonquière Elites of the U18 AAA Hockey Development League have a new President. This is Sylvain St-Pierre, who already holds the position at junior baseball club Voyageurs de Jonquière.
Sylvain St-Pierre succeeds Michel Simard, who has been in office for 18 years. The businessman, owner of the Cora restaurant in Chicoutimi, wants to apply the same philosophy as the voyageurs to the development of elite marketing.
Also, for the next season, he wants to introduce a code of conduct for parents to avoid situations like that of the Gauls of Saint-Hyacinthe.
