On Wednesday April 12, twelve members of the Pionniers Business Club (network of business partners Pioneers of Chamonix) flew to Quebec.
The program includes four days of discovery and a match in the world’s largest ice hockey arena. A look back at the 1st Pioneer Business Club trip sponsored by TeamWork Management!
After several months of preparation, the participants enthusiastically made their way to Montreal (Canada)! The homeland of ice hockey and the largest French-speaking city in America offered itself as the first destination. With the oldest and most successful club in the prestigious North American League (NHL), Montreal and its famous team of Canadians have mirrored Chamonix, on a modest level of course.
A unique adventure
In order to bring its members closer together and create connections between them, Pionniers Business Club took advantage of the end of the sports season to organize this unique trip. This allowed participants to take advantage of visits and moments of conviviality to get to know each other, discuss their trips and share their experiences.
Mount Royal, the Olympic Park and its Biodome, the underground city, an artisanal maple grove, Old Montreal and its Notre-Dame de Montreal basilica, a unique activity (axe throwing), typical and festive meals are discoveries that are more exciting than convivial moments are the local entrepreneurs.
An extraordinary experience
On Thursday, the Montreal Canadiens hosted the NHL-leading Boston Bruins for their final game of the season. After a visit to TeamWork’s Montreal offices and meeting with some Quebec entrepreneurs, the participants went to the legendary Bell Center with its 21,302 seats to attend the meeting in the very privileged conditions of a VIP box. An extraordinary evening where everyone could experience a game at a very high level, a great show and feel the unbelievable passion of the fans.
To top it off, Chamonix residents had the pleasure of receiving a surprise visit from Réjean Houle (five-time Stanley Cup winner, former GM of the Canadiens and President of the Association of Former Canadiens). This meeting was an opportunity for Willy Besson, Commercial Director of the Pioneers, to present this club legend with the Chamonix Hockey Club Book (1910-2020) as a souvenir of the Pioneers’ visit to Montreal.

This Voyage Business Club was only possible with the support of Cooperation, partner of the Pioneers for 4 years. The Geneva-based company, led by Philippe Rey-Gorrez, is a major player in consulting, technology integration and innovation, with 23 offices around the world, including one in Montreal.
