Canada 2100: Quebec federalists, what do you propose?

I hope you’ve read our overwhelming account of this lobby-led plan that has the ear of the federal government to populate Canada with a population of 100 million by 2100.

Of course, the point is to radically increase immigration volumes when Canada is already the world champion in terms of immigration among the countries with a significant weight.

This project is totally incompatible with preserving Quebec’s French character.

For what ?

What are his justifications?

Certainly not prosperity. There is no correlation between a country’s wealth and the size of its population.

Denmark (population 6 million), prosperous and dynamic, has nothing to fear from its powerful German neighbor (population 84 million) because it controls its borders and its migration flows.

Neither is the labor shortage. There are countless studies that have shattered this myth, which is no longer propagated except by kinglets in chambers of commerce and the ignorant.

There are two reasons. One is shameful, the other childish.

The first justification is to drown out turbulent Quebec, which insists on resisting the Anglo-Canadian steamroller and doing things its own way.

The second justification is the fantasy of elevating Canada to the rank of major power, which is absurd given the current size (let alone 2100) of countries that are real heavyweights.

Do you think that we already have problems with housing, access to health care, academic success, franking and in Montreal with crime?

Imagine the year 2100, with Montreal having a population of 12 million and Quebec having 3 million.

This inevitably affects our political parties first and foremost.

We know the PQ’s solution: get out of Canada to take control of our own destiny.

The CAQ thinks we’re idiots right now.

“We don’t let our threshold be dictated to us [annuel de nouveaux arrivants] said Christine Fréchette, Quebec’s immigration minister.

A statement of spectacular insignificance.

First, Quebec only controls permanent immigration into its territory, not temporary immigration, which has been exploding for years and consists of people who will do their best to stay here.

Then, regardless of the Quebec threshold, it will not prevent Quebec’s planned drowning due to the federal thresholds.

The PLQ and the PCQ are working together on this drowning by accepting Quebec’s provincial status.

They spiced it up with the usual cliches about “confidence,” “openness,” and “Quebec’s validation in the large Canadian family.”

QS, by pretending to be a sovereignist, is equally complicit, but adds to it hypocrisy and duplicity.

assimilation

This programmed drowning also challenges each of us.

“Ah, when Trudeau is gone…”. “Ah, if Poilievre…”.

By ‘if’, by telling stories to one another and being comfortably colonized, indifferent, or cowardly colonized, we have reached the antechamber of assimilation.
