Toronto City Hall: Ana Bailão wants to move the Science Center

In return, 5,000 new homes could be built on the current site of the Museum of Natural History and Technology north of the city center, according to Bailão.

The land on which the science center will be built belongs to the city, argues Ms. Bailão.

Infrastructure Minister Kinga Surma says the government has been working with the science center since 2019 to assess opportunities for science-related tourism activities and educational programs at Ontario Place.
