The Panthers unleashed their claws on the Canadian last night. They scored nine goals in a game Martin St-Louis’ men will truly forget.
As if they didn’t humiliate the Montreal organization enough, the Panthers decided to throw a point at their opponent using a video published on the TikTok platform.
In said video we see Ryan Lomberg with a big smile on his face and we can read the following sentence:
Sorry, we haven’t been reachable for the last three hours. We were busy scoring nine goals against the Canadiens! – Florida Panthers TikTok account
It’s fair game, hehe.
If we rely on CH’s overall performance, the Panthers deserve to laugh at the Canadian…
Even though Flannel’s roster looks more like an American League roster now!
@flapanther would have been 10 but we were already feeling bad #nhl ♬ Aesthetics – Lux-Inspira
In the end it’s still funny as it’s a joke and everything has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, the Panthers have every right to brag about beating an AHL club if they want, even if that club managed to score five goals against a goaltender who has a 10 million batting average.
I say it like this.
Recall that recently the Predators had completely demolished the Coyotes by a single image on Twitter calling their arena a drain… And that had caused a lot of conversation.
You know as well as I do how present and important social media is in everyday life and that some clubs are active on Twitter and TikTok is good news for the league.
It brings visibility to the NHL… and it’s the league’s image that benefits. It is entertaining and allows fans to have even more hockey fun.
Cheers to technology.

– Interesting, as paper.
The Vancouver Canucks have found a hidden gem in Andrei Kuzmenko. Here’s a look at some of the best available free agents playing outside of North America who will be attracting interest from NHL teams this year.

– Sharks players are big readers.
The non-family reviews for this story in the unofficial Sharks book club are in:
“This is the pinnacle of journalism”
“I can’t tell you how much joy this brings to my cold, dead heart”
“Not read yet”…wait, that’s from a family member.

– Quite a hockey player, that Matthew Tkachuk.
With three consecutive games of 3 or more points and 10 points to lead the standings, @TKACHUKycheese_ 21:01 TOI/GP recorded and helped @FlaPanther scored 5 of 6 available points on his way to NHLPA Player of the Week. pic.twitter.com/KSG9zeW73c

– Another three to four weeks absence for Kirill Kaprizov.
Dean Evason said Kirill Kaprizov hasn’t started skating yet. Status quo with recovery so on the same 3-4 week post-injury schedule. #mnwild
