Already an NHL record for the Kraken

The Seattle Kraken proved once and for all that they felt at home away from the Pacific Ocean by setting a National Hockey League record by winning every game on a seven-game road trip.

This is the first time in Bettman Circuit history that a team has pulled off such a feat. The Kraken, only in its second season, is already making waves.

Washington State officials capped their trip by beating the Chicago Blackhawks 8-5 at the United Center on Saturday. Jared McCann scored a remarkable hat-trick to reach the 20-goal mark for the second straight season.

Ryan Donato, Matty Beniers, Alexander Wennberg, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Yanni Gourde all finished with two points each. Defender Adam Larsson stood out with an incredible +7 differential.

Patrick Kane, who had missed three games due to injury, met on his return for the “Hawks”.

During their trip, the Kraken also beat the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabers and Boston Bruins. Dave Hakstol’s men will return to the Climate Pledge Arena on Monday to host the Tampa Bay Lightning.
