Beaucevilloise Claudie Mercier has been nominated in three categories for the first edition of the InfluenceCréation Gala, to be held on the evening of February 9th at the Tohu in Montreal.

This event aims to honor the Quebec content creators who make a positive impact on people thanks to their personality, knowledge and expertise. Claudie Mercier was selected by the jury in the following categories: Entertainment, TikToker of the Year and Youtuber of the Year.

Now it’s up to the public to vote for the personality of their choice. Voting ends on January 22 at 11:59 p.m.

In Beauce, two companies are also among the winners of the InfluenceCréation Gala. These are KaseMe and Pizza Salvatoré in the Company of the Year category.

Gala selection process
In order to submit an application, creators must meet certain criteria, in particular a minimum number of subscribers defined according to the platforms. Also, their content must be primarily in French and intended for a Quebec audience. Then 23 experts selected the five nominees in each category. They relied on:

• originality
• content quality
• The effort and level of difficulty for brainstorming, production and editing of the content
• The level of competition in the niche, content category and platform
• Community Engagement Rate
• The positive impact on Quebec culture

The winners will be announced live at the InfluenceCréation Gala on February 9, 2023 in Tohu. The gala will also be streamed on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.

Profits are donated to the Jasmin Roy Foundation to fight against cyberbullying.
