Technical problems at Desjardins | Services affected by an outage are back to normal

After a few hours of technical problems, Desjardins’ services, including the AccèsD site and card and ATM transactions, are operational again on Saturday evening.



In the early evening, Desjardins confirmed to The Canadian Press that all his services had returned to normal as of 5:10 p.m.

About an hour earlier, the AccèsD site was unavailable while card and ATM transactions “(worked) with interruptions”.

According to Jean-Benoît Turcotti, senior PR consultant at Desjardins, the problems started on Saturday afternoon. However, Mr. Turcotti would not specify what caused the technical problems.

“Right now the priority for the teams is really to restore services,” he was content to say. Our teams are working to restore everything as soon as possible. »

Desjardins also had technical problems at the beginning of November. Payment transactions at the terminals were interrupted for a few hours on November 3rd.
