After three straight losses, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis has once again turned the tables on offense…and defense.
Sean Monahan will be the center for veterans Evgenii Dadonov and Jonathan Drouin against the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night. This is a return to the game for the Russian, who has not played a game since October 27.
“It’s out of my hands,” Dadonov said of the use.
“You know, sometimes it’s good to watch the games from up there. I hope this helps me,” he added.
For his part, Mike Hoffman finds himself alongside Christian Dvorak and Brendan Gallagher.
The front row and fourth unit will be the same as in Saturday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Defensively, Johnathan Kovacevic resumes his position to Jordan Harris’ right while Chris Wideman returns to the stands.
In goal, Jake Allen will again be the starting goalkeeper.
