According to our whistleblower Renaud Lavoie, Montreal Canadiens defensive tackle Logan Mailloux will be given the green light by doctors to return to training and will be traded to his youth team the London Knights this week.
The Habs 2021 first-round pick was unable to play a single game in the last training camp due to a shoulder injury.
Mailloux also signed a three-season entry-level contract with CH just under a week ago. Recall that the boy’s selection sparked a scandal last year, when he was 17 photographing his sexual partner and sharing photos of the young woman naked without her consent. Although the story took place in Sweden, Mailloux was suspended indefinitely by the Ontario Junior League (OHL) last year and had to sit out most of the season.
