The Canadian had decided in recent years to be more present on platforms aimed at young people. Example? There are now twitch sessions every now and then.
It wasn’t what our fathers wanted, we’ll tell each other that.
In the past, these sessions were often moderated by Marc Dumont, but the latter lost his job with the Canadians during the off-season. One might therefore wonder whether the concept would nip in the bud or not.
And now, this morning from 10am, Kevin Raphael is hosting a live broadcast.
Find @kevinraphael21 on the official Habs Twitch account at around 10am for the Media Day 2022-23 live stream!

On the menu? Media day, but from a Canadian perspective.
Apparently, One has to ask oneself whether this represents a new hire from Switzerland or if it’s just a daily special for the popular sports reporter.
I’m sure a full-time job would do well with Flanelle fans as Kevin Raphael brings an interesting energy to the cameras.
And on Twitch it needs that.
Remember that Raphael is a busy guy. Between her podcast, her TV appearances, her annual classic, and her new role on the Montreal women’s ice hockey team, her days must still be pretty busy.
Also remember that we saw him alongside Chantal Machabée at the Gémeaux awards gala on Sunday.
Many Thanks @kevinraphael21 for this great and moving moment tonight @Prix_GEMEAUX ! Thanks to the organizers 🙏❤️❤️❤️ https://t.co/6wDBbhJXBn

As CH goes through a tougher time and entertainment for young people continues to grow, staying connected via Twitch will be important to the Canadian going forward.
All the better if it goes through Kevin Raphael.
