The Group B match between Albania and Croatia on June 19 is the Euro 2024 clash that generated the most searches on the popular Google website in Canada last month.
This is particularly evident from a series of information that the firm Hill & Knowlton sent to the QMI Agency on Wednesday. The information was compiled using Google searches.

The matches between Italy and Albania (June 15) and Portugal and Turkey (June 22) were the other two most popular duels.
As for the players, the indestructible Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who at the age of 39 will play the sixth European Championship, dominates the Canadian searches, ahead of the spectacular Kylian Mbappé (France) and the German midfielder Toni Kroos, the icon of Real Madrid, who will close his professional career with this tournament played in his country.
Young English sensation Jude Bellingham and Croatian legend Luka Modric complete the top 5.
Among the teams, England has dominated Canadian search rankings over the past month, followed by Portugal, France, Italy and Germany.
“How is the EURO Cup?” was the most frequently asked question during the same period. The public also wondered when the tournament took place, who broadcast it in the country, who won the last edition (it was Italy) and, finally, how old Cristiano Ronaldo is.
Euro 2024 will be presented from start to finish on TVA Sports from 14 June to 14 July
