The Canadian and the Alouettes at the Canadian Grand Prix

Players from Canada and the Alouettes continued the tradition and came to the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend.

CH striker Kirby Dach took the opportunity to see the Formula 1 cars up close. Accompanied by his girlfriend Jordan Vanderveen, he took the time to walk near the team garages on Saturday, the day of qualifying.

Dach injured his right knee in the second game of the calendar, ending his season. Dach also participated in the selfie and autograph game.

The day before, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was also seen on Notre-Dame Island.

Bottas, the hockey player

After Valtteri Bottas, the cyclist, here comes Valtteri Bottas, the ice hockey player. Earlier this week, Harvey-Pinard and Alex Newhook welcomed the Sauber driver to the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.

The Finnish man, who took part in a mountain bike race in Kansas last weekendShe does very well on a rink. With a little help, he even scored a goal in Michigan!

Bottas in particular enjoyed driving the snow groomer. He managed to control the skids without driving into the track and, to his great satisfaction, handed the vehicle over to his driver in one piece.

Harvey-Pinard, Newhook and Bottas exchanged jerseys, with the driver handing over that of the Lahti Pelicans, a team he co-owns, and in return he received a red CH sweatshirt with his name and the number 77 he plays in Formula 1.

Marc-Antoine Dequoy also

Alouettes stars Marc-Antoine Dequoy and quarterback Cody Fajardo were also at the Gilles-Villeneuve race track on Saturday.

They also had a wonderful private tour of the Alpine team’s garages.

Tyson Philpot, Quebec’s Goeffrey Cantin-Arku, Jose Maltos, Joseph Zema and Sam Clark, who scored two touchdowns against the Blue Bombers in Winnipeg on Thursday, also celebrated the Alouettes’ first victory by a score of 27 to 12. Dequoy also managed an interception in the game.

The Grey Cup champions started their title defense on the right foot.

Quebecer Matthew Bergeron, offensive lineman for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, was another athlete who appreciated the qualification.

A big fan of car racing and a driver in his spare time, former Canadian defender Patrice Brisebois did not miss the opportunity to take part in the Canadian Grand Prix.
