A well-known Canadian face coached Connor Hughes – Sports Addik

There is quite an interesting connection between goalie Connor Hughes and the Canadian organization even before he signed with the Habs.

During last season in the Swiss National League, Hughes played for the Lausanne-based club and several experts consider him to be the best goalkeeper in the league last season, especially in the playoffs.

The person behind this impressive awakening at the age of 27 is the former Canadiens Cristobal Huet who was his instructor last season. The two men seem to have found a great recipe to work on this year to make Hughes even more effective.

What better than a former number one in Montreal to give him advice for next season? Especially since Hughes had a similar path to Huet, making his professional debut in North America at the age of 27 with no experience whatsoever, while previously playing in Switzerland. The advice will be very valuable to him.

The Canadian did not choose Connor Hughes by chance. We also know what to expect from him and the prognosis seems very good if we decide to sign him. There is a chance that the Ontario native will impress in the organization and we will have a good insurance policy next year as the organization’s 4th goalie.
