With an ultra-thin 85mm depth and an integrated power supply, the high brightness display is also optimized to be visible in strong ambient light, even for people wearing polarized sunglasses[2]. The product is fully equipped for outdoor installation and has an innovative cooling system, eliminating the need to install additional heating or air conditioning.

In addition, Samsung’s digital display technology offers advanced screen protection with 5 mm (0.19 inch) Magic Glass tempered glass, which is certified durable by IK10 certification (a European resistance test) and has a high level of resistance, that can withstand external shocks[3].

“The Tim Hortons drive-thru network is the largest in the country, providing Canadians a quick, contactless way to grab their favorite coffee and food on the go. “Samsung technology plays an important role in our vision to modernize the guest experience, and we are excited to install outdoor digital menu boards at our drive-thru restaurants.” Chris Main, Vice President of Restaurant Technology at Tim Hortons.

[1]Each display in the OHF range undergoes rigorous IP56* intrusion testing to ensure it is resistant to dust, heat, humidity and other environmental variables that can affect operation. Testing the IP rating determines a product’s vulnerability to ingress of solid particles (including dust) and liquids (water). IP56: Protection against high-pressure water jets from any direction, limited protection against water ingress.

The OHF series displays have been verified and validated by TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification body.
