A preview of the next draft compared to Eric Lindros

The 2024 NHL Entry Draft promises to be interesting with prospects like Macklin Celebrini who could be chosen first and Cole Eiserman, Anton Silayev, Ivan Demidov And Cayden Lindstrom who have a good chance of being chosen among the top 5.

A topic that has been talked about a lot lately is Lindstrom's progression and dominance in the WHL with the Medicine Hat Tigers and how he excels as a power forward in today's NHL.

Not only is he a good offensive player, he also has all the qualities to potentially become the best player in this draft.

His coach Willie Desjardins even compares him to Eric Lindros.

As TVA Sports reports, the former Canucks and Kings coach made this comparison when describing Lindstrom's style of play.

For a time he was the leader in penalty minutesrecalled Tigers head coach and general manager Desjardins during an interview with TVASports.ca. There are many people with skills. Bigger guys too, but they're not as lumbering and mean as Cayden. It's been a long time since we've seen a man like him.

The 1.90 m tall, 90 kg center has already scored 27 goals in 32 games this season and contributed 19 assists, which corresponds to a total of 46 points.

Current predictions suggest he could finish second to seventh and it's obvious he's making many Canadian fans dream.
