Quebecer Véronique Proulx, CEO of Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Québec (MEC), has earned a place among the most influential Canadian women in business in the Women's Executive Network's 2021 Top 100.
The one, who is also senior vice president of national communications and marketing at MEC parent company Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), was recognized in the Mercedes-Benz Emerging Leaders Award category, which highlights the achievements of women professionals Ages 30 to 45 who are recognized within their organization for their vision, potential and achievements.

Véronique Proulx, who holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Paris-Dauphine and the University of Quebec in Montreal, joined MEQ in 2015 as director of communications, public affairs and strategy. The following year, she was promoted to vice president of corporate affairs and strategy. Finally, in 2017, she became the first woman to hold the position of CEO within the company, which represents 1,100 manufacturers across the province.
