Everyone is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Lane Hutson, who could come to Montreal at the end of the season once his NCAA career is over. Until then, the Canadians' hopes remain focused on Boston University.
On Thursday night, Hutson had four assists as the Terriers easily defeated the University of Vermont by a score of 5-1.
In particular, he was involved in two goals for prodigy Macklin Celebrini, who was considered the first choice in the 2024 draft. Celebrini scored a brace in this encounter.
Hutson brought his point total to 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists) in 18 games. He's on pace to surpass his mark of 48 points in 39 games last season.
