Canadian forward Josh Anderson could be out for an extended period of time due to an injury he sustained against the Stars last night.
The right winger came into contact with defender Thomas Harley and then fell to the ice. His leg seemed to be in a lot of pain.

Once on the bench, Anderson retreated to the locker room with the help of the team trainer as he was unable to put any weight on his leg. The Habs ended the game with 10 attackers in the third period.
With the Canadian returning to Montreal today, we should soon learn more about the severity of his injury. But let's just say it doesn't look good when a player is unable to walk properly. Christian Dvorak was also recently injured. It would hurt to lose both players.
Anderson has scored 6 goals and 11 points in 37 games since the start of the season. He had also regained his self-confidence in the last few weeks. Let's hope his absence won't last too long.
