Students and students get to know Canadian life at UMCE

The 17the The “Introduction to the Canadian Resume” series, presented on October 21 and 28, attracted the participation of approximately forty undergraduate and graduate students from Université de Moncton, Edmundston Campus (UMCE) and New Brunswick Community College – Edmundston Campus.

Seven speakers gave workshops on the following topics: climate and seasons; New Brunswick culture; Indigenous Peoples, NB Perspectives; health and wellbeing/healthy eating; Canadian banking system; Presentation of Édupôle’s employment access services; and intercultural relationships.

Nurse Véronique Cormier joined the group Smoothie to his lecture on healthy eating, which was greatly appreciated by the participants.

In the coming weeks there will be a small ceremony to hand over the certificates to students.
