For the second year in a row, Ivory Coast, the economic hub of West Africa, will host this event, which will take place from October 12 to 14, 2023 on the banks of the Ebrié Lagoon.

This second edition of the Africa Canada Immigration and Investment Show (SACII), which officially opens this Thursday, October 12, 2023, has the theme “Win-win partnership: for a promising future between Africa and Canada”.

The show is organized in collaboration with the Akwaba community. Ivorian Didier Konan Koffi, the organization’s president, said he and his team were “determined” to make SACII “an annual tradition.”

“Our commitment to this summit will not waver. Every year we will come together to broaden our horizons, encourage mutual investment and promote deeper understanding between our peoples,” he added.

“The opportunities are enormous and together we will seize them. Within this framework, the Akwaba Community has decided to establish its African Representative Office in Abidjan, which the Board will refer to as the HUB of Canada,” he said.

Canada’s Ambassador to Ivory Coast, Anderson Blanc, noted that this show aims to “bring Canada and the African continent closer together.” In addition, the African diaspora is “a strength and a great asset to the development of the continent”.

He noted: “Canada and Ivory Coast share this tradition of hospitality towards foreign citizens. Côte d’Ivoire is also known for being a hospitable country to foreigners from all over the world and especially from the sub-region.

He will say that immigration represents an opportunity for Canada to welcome talented citizens who will contribute to the development of society. This channel offers Africans the opportunity to study in Canada, exchange experiences or explore business opportunities to invest in their country.

Dr. Donald Jean-Marc N’Guessan, Director of Reception, Orientation and Monitoring of Reintegration Measures in the General Directorate of Diaspora at the Ivorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed this exhibition “which promotes regular immigration and selective immigration”.

“I think that channels are provided for our young people who want to emigrate and leave, and I think that Canada is one of those countries that allows all these young people not to go down the paths of irregular and illegal immigration. “, but to be able to engage in prepared and organized immigration,” he said.

This fair is intended to be a place for everyone who wants to realize their immigration project or study or work in Canada. Immigration experts and partners present will inform candidates about immigration options.

There are stands set up to welcome and advise people who want to immigrate to Canada. And this in order to “make informed decisions to realize their project and facilitate their integration into Canadian society”.

The 2023 edition of the Africa Canada Immigration and Investment Show (SACII) will take place from October 12 to 14, 2023 at the Hôtel Ivoire ice rink in the municipality of Cocody, eastern Abidjan. The first edition of this show took place in 2022.
