“I expect to see him with the Canadiens this season.”

Although Joshua Roy was recently left out of the Montreal Canadiens camp, the possibility of seeing him with the big club during the season shouldn’t be ruled out.

According to Renaud Lavoie, this is a scenario that will occur in 2024-2024.

“I expect to see him with the Canadiens this season, he predicted in his column on BPM Sports, Monday morning. He will come at some point because we will need a man like Joshua Roy.”

Our hockey expert believes the CH contender had a good camp but didn’t do enough to force the front-runner to take action.

“He would have had to turn the screwdriver again so that the Canadiens leaders would look at each other and say, ‘We can’t remove it right now,'” he imagined.

Lavoie also regretted the fact that the CH was unable to speak out this year to encourage leaders to make difficult decisions. On the Toronto Maple Leafs side, however, young Fraser Minten and Matthew Knies stood out against the Canadiens.

“Among Canadians, it seems like we’re passing around the screwdriver, there’s actually no one who wants to hold it in their hands.”
