Montreal Canadiens Scrimmage: Team Red vs. Team White

After three days of battles for the team divided into four groups, they will combine into two groups for the team’s annual Red-White Battle at the Bell Center. It will be the first time the team has taken the ice at its main rink and the first time thousands of fans will be able to see the team, having previously played games at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.
With three scrimmages in three days and the team’s first preseason game on Monday, there are a few starters who will sit out the game. Monday’s game will also be at the Bell Center against the New Jersey Devils.
There are plenty of players who will be looking to make a good impression as there is competition for spots at both the NHL and AHL levels of the depth chart.
The game will consist of two 30-minute periods. The first 25 minutes of each section is running time, the last five minutes is stop time. Regardless of the score, there will be a five-minute three-on-three period after the game. If there is a tie, there will be a shootout.
