Marie-Ève ​​​​Royer was named president of Bimbo Canada, the oldest and largest Canadian company producing baked goods and snacks, last February. The company owns several flagships in Quebec, including Boulangerie Vachon in Sainte-Marie.

The leader is anything but a stranger to Beauce, as her father comes from Sainte-Hénédine and her mother from Sainte-Marie, she reveals in a video interview EnBeauce.com.

The lady began her career at Maple Leaf Foods more than 20 years ago as part of the leadership intern program (Maple Leaf Foods sold Canada Bread to Grupo Bimbo in 2014). Since then, she has held leadership positions in business strategy, supply chain, marketing, sales and hospitality in Canada and the United Kingdom.

She has over 20 years of experience at Bimbo Canada in business strategy and building high-performing teams.
