BC Lions quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. suffered a knee injury Saturday night.

The former Montreal Alouettes pivot left the game in the first quarter of a 19-9 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He injured himself falling victim to a quarterback sack. The 30-year-old clutched his left knee and convulsed in pain. He then needed help to get off the field.
He is the third former Als quarterback to suffer an injury since the start of the 2023 season. Trevor Harris (Roughriders) suffered a broken tibia in his right knee while Matthew Schiltz (Hamilton Tiger-Cats) was also eliminated from his last duel.
