Georges Saint-Pierre was announced Thursday for the UFC Fight Pass Invitational program, which will take place on December 14. The Canadian, a legend of MMA, will perform in grappling this time.
More than four years later, Georges Saint-Pierre is coming out of his announced retirement in 2019. If his latest fight comes down to a win over Michael Bisping for a UFC middleweight title, the Canadian will return in the octagon next December. The 42-year-old legend will compete in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu bout organized by the UFC.
Georges Saint-Pierre is still training
The date is already set for December 14, during the sixth edition of the UFC Fight Pass Invitational. Georges Saint-Pierre’s opponent’s name has not yet been released. “I love the adrenaline that competition gives me and I want to feel it again,” GSP said during a conference in Las Vegas.
Since retiring, Georges Saint-Pierre has not stopped training to maintain his good level of form. In recent days, the Canadian had also appeared with Elon Musk, who was preparing for an announced fight against Mark Zuckerberg.
Several potential opponents have already been named for Georges Saint-Pierre, including Russia’s Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman and Brazilian Anderson Silva. The names mentioned are “attractive options” for “GSP”, so it will take a little patience until you know who your future opponent is.
