During his first season in the NHL, Juraj Slafkovsky wasn’t perfect. Obviously nobody asked him to be from 2022, we’ll tell each other that from the start.
But when he played in the NHL, he saw what he needed to work on.
After all, we’ve been saying it all year, but you can’t have NHL experience without playing in the league … and the young man did that for 39 games.
All of this means that he is aware that he has to work, and he does. This summer, the striker was spotted in Slovakia using the techniques of a certain Michal Bretenar, who specializes in changing the rhythm of breathing. It corrects bad breathing habits.

The goal of the game? Clearly allow him to be more optimal on the ice thanks to his breath.
It’s clear that a young player like him has an advantage when he improves at this level. I didn’t notice a problem with it last year, but a thrust is always a good thing.
But that’s not the only aspect he’s working on.
As you know, Slaf is a talented player, but he doesn’t always make the right decisions when he’s on the ice and in possession of the puck.
For example? If he doesn’t hold his head up with the puck.
That’s why you have to be satisfied when you see him using special glasses that can improve his focus, timing, balance and speed.
The glasses Juraj Slafkovsky wears while training in the Czech Republic improve “focus, timing, balance and speed,” according to the website.
It’s an interesting approach to that #GoHabsGo Prospect looking for a successful season in the second year

I don’t know if this will lead to concrete results in his case. Will we see a revised and corrected version of Slovak on the ice from October? Who knows.
But he at least puts the odds on his side.

– Interesting.
I’ve never seen this quantity and quality of defensive depth at a Canadiens camp. Just full of talent. Mighty impressive.

– Sylvain Favreau had set his sights on coaching the Olympics, but here he is in Drummondville.
I’m going to go to the sources this morning, but I’ve been told that Benoît Desrosiers, a longtime assistant at the @QMJHLHe would now be the favorite candidate for the post of head coach of the @OlympiquesGAT. Sylvain Favreau was chilled by the departure of Derick Brassard.
